Claude Bastelica is the Chief Police Inspector in Nîmes, a small provincial city in the south of France. Claude’s wife Josiane has the exact same job. France 3 presents a portrait of this crime-fighting couple, as Anne de Boismilon follows Claude Bastelica through his investigations, which include drug affairs and sex trafficking (night patrols, hideouts, and police raids). She is at his side while he arrests a suspect and questions individuals held in custody. Inspector Bastelica then sits down with Anne de Boismilon to discuss his training, work conditions, frustrations, and above all his love for his job
